Leverage and Margin
Requirements at EverestCM

In this section of our website, you’ll find the leverage and margin requirements when trading at EverestCM. When trading, you must maintain a certain level of funds in your account (the necessary margin), also known as a good faith deposit. Calculating and understanding your necessary margin requirements beforehand allows you to apply good risk management and avoid any unnecessary margin calls resulting in the closing of a position due to not enough margin in your account.

It’s good to note that the leverage offered by EverestCM is fixed based on the trading instrument and limited with 1:500 maximum. Speak with your EverestCM Account Manager who can help you with this. As with any leveraged product, there is a possibility for both increased losses and profits. Margin requirements on demo accounts are equivalent to those on corresponding live accounts.

Margin Requirements

Here are the margin requirements for our Raw and Classic Forex Trading Accounts:

Assuming you open one position (buy 1 lot) on a USD denominated account:
